Septic Tanks must be tested to EN12566 Part 1. This tests the integrity of the tank and its performance in terms of the retention of solids. BOD will supply septic tanks manufactured by Carlow Tanks Limited. These concrete tanks are fully tested and comply with ENi2566-3. If a GRP tank is required then the septic tank supplied by Anua is fully compliant with EN125663-1

For Treatment systems the Anua range of products are flexible coming in Concrete or GRP and covering a size range suitable for a single house or up top 100 PE applications.The Puraflo range is unique.This is based on the cleaning Properties of peat so that unrevealed treatment is achieved in a passive system where the effluent from the septic tank is percolated through a bed of peat and the unique properties of the peat remove over 90% of all pollutants in the effluent. bed of peat and the unique properties of the peat remove over 90% of all pollutants in the effluent.  

When Tertiary treatment is installed there can be a significant reduction in the size of the percolation area or polishing filter since the tertiary system essentially acts as the polishing filter. This can be a major advantage where there are existing sites with limited space or where there is very slow soakage where a very large polishing filter would be required.BOD will supply the Puraflo technology as a Tertiary Polishing filter. This comes Pre-packaged, tested and Guaranteed by Anua. When installed by BOD a lifelong trouble-free system is guaranteed. If an on-site construction is required as part of the most effective solution then BOD will supply and install Sand Polishing Filters.
